D&AD Monotype - Brief introduction, Problem Analysis and Re-wrote Brief
D&AD Brief
Problem analysis & requirements
The sole purpose of the brief is to use the power of type to communicate an issue that I can present in a passionate way using pure type as the main focus point but allow other principles to support the concept and delivery.
Have courage in the concept and how you deliver it.
Use type not only to communicate but also to solve a problem with an issue.
Agitate, Educate and organize within the use of type and its context and application.
Define my audience and analyze a persona/profile to understand how to engage with them.
Type is the only medium allowed but can be supported by adding context and meaning to a strong concept with the use of; Layout, Color, Size, Hierarchy, Customization, Manipulation, Language, Material &Process
