Use ideas of science and technology and link this too an asthetic resolution while considering these aspects within the whole process from idea generation to final delivery of the design. 

Work on idea of ransoming, interpreted in a cyberspace age through the introduction of ransomware. 

Show other crimes that where once a physical thing and now have become an increasing problem within a digital age, for example hacking as a digital form of theft. 

Work on ideas based around public saftey issues, ie terrorism to cyber terrorism, showing how technology is an increasing risk too these issues. 

Choosing the ransom idea as the starting point it was important too feed in other elements to add further context too the idea. 

6 Key points that resonated with technology and physical aspects of ransoming that expand on my COP investigations within a cyberspace age specifically looking at ideas of security and data issues.

Hand wrote cut & paste demand notes. 

Transitioning too a physical interpretation through digital attacks view phishing email. 

These phishing emails then encrypt and steal files from the end user.

These encrypted files are then sold back too the end user if they want access back, bidding for there personal possessions back as time goes on the cost goes up. 

Virtual auction, a cyberspace transition from a physical auction too a virtual auction.

3. Back up files as a form of keeping personal documents safe, an idea that could resonate from a physical to digital transition form vaults & safes too cloud back up server accounts. 

4. Physical security ie bodyguards defending high profile victims from kidnap and ransom, too the idea of file security, anti virus's etc to keep personal possessions safe from ransom and hacking attacks. 

HIGHLIGHT NAIVITY OF THESE USERS

5. Some phishing emails draw people into the scam, threatening with embarrassing things like you have accessed porn and your details are going too be leaked too all your contacts. 

6. Maybe create a how too guide on how not to let yourself be open to ransomware attacks, an aim at solving this current problem that has arisen from the introduction of technology. 

Technology is developing and awareness of the risks that go along with it are not made clear, make a campaign that raises awareness to these issues. People depend on technology so are more and more falling victim too scams aimed at un educated users. 

Focus on showing the physical old style of ransoming a high profile victim, often someone of high value, now with the introduction of cyberspace technology the issue has become global through the internet and ransomware. 

The orientation and format will be important, choosing the landscape will visualize a screen format to show this idea of physical interpretation of something digital, while the portrait resonates with a phone format.
